Advisory Board of Health

The Board of Sumner County Commissioners shall designate a group of professional personnel who shall be appointed based on Resolution 97-6.The Sumner County Health Advisory Board shall consist of nine members. The Board shall meet quarterly. The duties of the Board shall review and approve annually the agency’s by-laws; establish and annually review patient care policies and procedures, agency’s policies governing scope of services offered, admission and discharge policies, medical supervision and plans of treatment; assist agency in maintaining liaison with other health care providers in the community and in its community information program; receive and review reports of agency’s activities; if needed, appoint a designee or committee for the performance of the annual agency review, quarterly clinic records and special projects.
