Well-Woman
A well-woman visit provides an excellent opportunity to counsel patients about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and minimizing health risks. The periodic well-woman care visit should include screening, evaluation and counseling, and immunizations based on age and risk factors.
WOMEN'S SERVICES we provide:

Annual Pap and Pelvic Exams provided by a Physician’s Assistant*

Contraceptive Counseling and Supplies - Depo Provera Injection, Birth Control Pills, NuvaRing*** and Condoms.

HIV testing and counseling

STD testing and counseling

Pregnancy testing and counseling

Screening for anemia, high blood pressure, immunization status
*Fees can be based on sliding fee scale if family income falls below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level
** In order to take advantage of low-cost birth control methods provided by the Health Department clients must be enrolled in our Family Planning Program.
